Fernet&Cola
I was born far from home.
Among the streets of Córdoba.
Around long tables, surrounded by friends who still had more stories to share.
They welcomed me into their celebrations.
Their toasts. Their most memorable moments. I was passed from hand to hand, from one person to another.
The Argentine people gave me a name:
Fernandito.
Fernet-Branca, ice and cola.
The best things happen when they stop belonging only to us and become something we share.
Today, I’ve come home
